“Custom Solutions For Your Financial Needs” is a highly sophisticated service provided by Investment Planning Group, Inc of Westlake, Ohio for its clients over the past 40 years.  This firm is structured with a staff of certified practitioners and professional administrative assistants, while providing a comprehensive investment, retirement and insurance solutions.  This is accomplished through development of long term client relationships along with an extreme sense of accomplishment by its professional administrative assistants.

Early in 1960, the firm was founded by August “Augie” DiVito as a result of developing an investment and insurance practice along with maintaining a teaching and coaching career.  The decision to focus on his investment and insurance practice was made in 1964 as he established a presence for the Investment Planning Group in Euclid, Ohio which eventually moved to downtown Cleveland and subsequently to it present location in Westlake, Ohio.

Chris DiVito proudly succeeded his father, August DiVito, in the year 2000 by becoming the firm’s owner and president.  Chris brings with him a decade of experience in corporate financial services including the professional credentials of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and The Fellow, Life Management Institute designation (FLMI).  August DiVito continues to provide valuable resources to the firm.

Chris has been a keynote speaker nationwide addressing groups in the financial industry, and is dedicated to preserving the firm’s traditional philosophy  by assisting clients in creating wealth for their  personal and business financial goals. A strong commitment to clients becomes the foundation for a successful relationship within the community and is highlighted by his comment “Not only are the people, who make up the Greater Cleveland community, among the most friendly and caring I have met, there is an international cultural diversity along with historical appeal including entertainment and recreational facilities.  There is truly something for everyone”.
